"its fine man
forget about it" What is fine and what should we forget? The fact is that parts of Goa are turning into a cess pit. I've only been going to Goa for the past 5 years and I can see the difference. It's about time local government addressed these issues. Just look to the back of ANY beach shack to see the garbage and s**t. It's not far from a diseased ridden hell. This is no exageration. It's happening already, take CoCo beach for example, the sea is filthy, most probably from beach shacks pumping crap into the water and also the ships. I don't believe the Goans cannot cope with tourism it's just that those in power want more money. I'm glad that they have stopped the parties. This was becoming a 'freak show'. Why oh why can't westerners just chill-out with the natural ambience, fine weather and good food. Instead some want to get involved with some of the most mind numbing DANGEROUS drugs (K,E,C etc) supplied by the most dodgy dealers on this planet. No wonder people die every season.... this ain't Amsterdam and no one gives a s**t about the abusers. We can't turn back the clock but we can show some respect for the local people and the environment. |
