looking for house at mandrem beach

We're a family of 5 (children aged 7, 5, 1) looking for a beach front house at Mandrem for rent for 6 weeks in February and March.

Any suggestions most welcome!

Do you know anyone in Goa at the moment that can just drive to Mandrem and have look to see whats there . Usually there are houses with signs saying "for rent".
Mandrem will be perfect for you and your children .

hi patti,

thanks for taking the time to answer. it affirms us that mandrem is the right choice.

despite the fact i was born in new delhi and was in goa as a kid, i don't know anyone there. that's one reason for returning.

we'll continue searching and if all else fails rent a room for the first week and find a house then.

nikolaj , Westlife the pop group filmed a video on Mandrem beach a few years ago, when i asked the directer why he picked Mandrem beach ,he said they looked at every beach in Goa and Mandrem was the best. The sea when it goes out leaves pools of sea water behind that your children can paddle in.Me and a friend used to lay in it ,the water was as hot as bath water.Yes your children will love it there .
Good idea to rent a room then look for house.
