Hi,
we recently arrived home from our honeymoon in Goa, IndiaMike proved to be an extremley useful tool for information before we went, however we found Goa to be a place where everything just works itself out. We stayed in Candolim for a while first, managed a night a club cubana, great club but we felt more comfortable at Palolem Beach where everything is slightly more laid back. We had planned to head to Kerala but we got so lazy and fell in love with the beaches we decided next time!Have already made plans to visit the real india next year starting with Deli and Rajasthan next year. We found the food to be incredible, didnt get sick once and we were very adventurous with the food, stayed in some great little guesthouses, Coquerial up in Candolim and then beach shacks in Palolem. Sunsets were breathtaking, the locals were great. One tip, if your travel agent decides that a 3 hours is helping you out in a stopover in Bombay, try and make it a 6 hour stop over. Just about every flight was held up and it was only pure luck and lots of running that got us on our flight in Bombay. Thats the only thing that very nearly went wrong, apart from that if you are about to head over there or are deciding if you should go, GO! you will have an amazing time.

Me too! We had a great time in Palolem a few weeks back. Local transport in Goa is not upto the mark. Getting around is not so easy.
