HI
Travelling to Goa in Jan with 2 youngs kids under 4 and have some questions which I hope you can help with: 1) Whats the Hotel Kamat like ? 2) Are there lots of mossies this time of year ? 3) what would you recommend for young kids to see and do 4) Any local tour operators where I can check day trips they may organise 5) Any good organised tours that you would recommend with young kids ...any wildlife ones for example ? 6) Wanna travel to Mumbai for a few nights and have seen Spicejet offering flights for approx Rs1600 return, where would I be able to book these from ? Any other useful info , Thanks

Hi Boyabouttown, Welcome to Indiamike.
A couple of answers & a bump up for your questions. Heres a link for Day Trips around Goa with a reliable company. Mossies are bit & miss as to whether you encounter any,,,,,,,,,, Plenty of repellent for the kids along with sunscreen, hats etc Enjoy |

Are you referring to the Hotel Kamat in Calangute? There are mosquitoes in the month of January.

There are mozzies all times of year but worse in monsoon or just after rains(6 days to breed
) There are not so many in Jan, but it depends where you go. ![]()

Have not stayed at the Hotel Kamat but I can tell you the location is fairly good. You can always change the hotel if you find that it is not meeting your requirements. There are tons of hotels in the vicinity.
