Can't help with personal advice, but if you put "dentist" and "Goa" in the search box on top you'll get several threads on that topic!

Dentists
Take care, 90% dentists here are not skilled and will fleece you to no end. They will also corner you into almost doing up your entire set and will keep mentioning new cavities, suggest extractions which are not needed, etc

I don't think that is fair . Please see that you research the internet well so that you know what to expect. Say type in Dental treatment goa and get the addresses.
Write to each one and see. Moreover be cautious. Goa definately has very good doctors and dentists. |

I agree diannegoa, from personal experience I have no complaints with the treatment i received in Goa. dentists in general are very efficient and highly qualified and excellent value compared to the UK or Europe in general. I always use Dr Ambert Pimenta and have no complaints. Just google him for contact details

Please check if they use Nitrous Oxide for anesthesia - it is very dangerous and can lead to severe nerve disorder. Yes, it is called Laughing Gas, but its effect is no laughing matter.

I went to a dentist in Margao years ago, recommended by some guy sitting next to me on the train from Bombay to Margao. Well my appointment was at 12, but I didn't get to see him until 2:30.
But he turned out to be a funny guy originaly from Rwanda but his family was from Goa. We laughed alot, but I told him about past experiences with dentists in other countiies like Cairo and Honduras where after 6 months my fillings fell out. He said no prooblem with mine. Well to make an already long story short, his fillings fell out also, about 6 months later. But it only cost 250 inr. so... ![]() |
