Ok, now i'm confused...
Sorry to butt in my own issue into someone else's thread (i think its not allowed, is it), but i have a similar situation. I'm going to Goa in about 10 days or so and i've had mixed opinions from different people. Some say that its not a good idea coz of the monsoons and some say its nice weather. Arghhh... the confusion.
I hope my question also reflects on Kee's original post as i am travelling with my girlfriend, and agree with rsteve and mihirp that lack of people and this being the non-tourist part of the year, its really good for couples (esp!!). We are going there for sure, so now my real question... Does anyone have any recommendations on where to stay. I know its nice to have a room with a view and to get discounts and there are lot of places etc. But can anyone reccommend any actual names of places to stay? Would be a great help. Especially Kee, going by wat you wrote in your post, if you've already been there, where did you stay and wat do you say bout it?? ([thumbs-up] or [thumbs-down])??!!... |

Goa is great this time of the year ,specially depends on the mood ur in , its kinda romantic and if ur with ur in the rite company it is really grt fun , less crowd and u can really chill out .
place to stay VILA goesa ,its in baga calangute area (www.vilagoesa.com) it is reasonable , prime location ,the beds are a lil uncomfy besides that all is good. this is if ur looking for a less expensive place with prime location , if not u have a range of nice 5 star resorts that u can choose from , price range would be anything from USD 100/- per nite. |
