I don't think you'll find it too hot. I just got back - and yes, it was hot but not unbearably so. I didn't have A/C in my room so it was always going to be a little more uncomfortable for me!! Down by the beach there was almost always a pleasant breeze. Evenings outdoors are really nice. Also, it's not so busy at this time of year (substantially quieter than when I was last there in February) so it's more chilled out and you can certainly haggle for better deals. Enjoy!

v were staying @ Baga beach, the crowdiest of the lot. Also Colva was crowded, others were OK

It's not very busy in Colva now. The temperature and humidity has been higher than seasonal normal. Cooled down a few days ago but today felt warmer today. Weekends are busy with Indian tourists from Karnataka and Maharashtra. Try and stay central, you have more options. Taj is in Benaulim, 15 mins Margao 50 mins Panaji.It ain't that bad!
