Hi,

Was planning a trip to goa in first week of december.

Wanted to know when does the Ingo's night market open this season?

Also, any idea where exactly it would be situated?
Does the location change?

Thanks in advance.

http://www.ingosbazaar.com/

It's always situated in Arpora, in between Baga and Anjuna. Don't spend too much money there.

I heard that there will be a market but no longer run by Ingo but by a certain Mr. Braganza, the owner of the land.

Ingo has apparently found a new spot somewhere near Mapusa but people think that this might be too far for people to go to.

I do not know what is true of the above but I got it from somebody who normally has a stall at Ingo's.

I was there last december, it was crazy. It was one of the few times in my small puny existence on this planet earth when I felt I was in a movie or something. All kinds of people wearing all kinds of stuff with lot of piercings and stuff. Scared, excited, all kinds of feelings but at the end was cool.

Ingo, and family, have had many problems the past few years as his efforts to use some influential locals to muscle into first Assagao and then Chopdem were met with determined local opposition. He was also having problems with immigration, according to the news reports,so what this means for the current season is anyone's guess.
