Info on Goa
Hi there all, I was in Goa this time last year and stayed in Palolem, just have a few questions.
Has it changed alot, heard alot of huts were knocked down ? Would that mean problems getting accomdadation ? Will be going in March to Goa, is it quieter there that time of year, the quieter the better for me. Also, will be flying into the international airport there from London, what's the best way to get to Palolem from there ? Cheers, Deirdre. |

Dabolim Airport is about 65 km from Palolem. A pre-paid taxi (Rs.800-Rs. 1000) will bring you to Palolem in about 1 1/2 hours.

all the accomodation is rebuild. Even around Christmas and new year there where huts, so in march there will be rooms enough I guess. It will be quieter (and hotter).
Taxi from Dabolim airpot was 1000 Rp, fixed price. When arriving in daytime is goiing to Vasco or Margao also an option and take a bus from there (if you are on a tight budget) Enjoy your stay, Mea |
