how bout a 2bhk, beach side.. wil it cost me a fortune?? and oct- march is peak time?? i canhave it as a vacatio get away...

There are Villas available where we are in the south.1 bedroom
25L 2 bedrooms 30L and 3 bedrooms 35L all fully furnished.They are about 2 km from the beach.

john.. seems reasonable.. i would like to go ahead in investing in goa i guess.. esp with the marvel a walk away ... any leads tht u can suggest??

Those are apartments or villas? Never heard of a 1 bedroom villa before.

Property touching the beach is about Rs 19,000/square metre. As you move away from the beach the price drops. 2 km from the beach is about Rs 8,000/square metre.

Calangute is fairly saturated now and I would not advise you to buy as an investment. It was alright to do so 10 years ago but not now. The prices I quoted earlier are for beaches other than Calangute which is the most expensive. For Calangute the prices are an additional 30% more.
