We will be in Anjuna anyway so I think we should all gather round and give Gypsygal a big ring of steel around her to protect her and a big group hug to send her on her way to explore the real India she will love it.

Well my bestest friend and I are headed to india for 4 weeks, 1 week of which will be spent down in Goa for Chrissy. We are staying in Candolim so if any of you want to travel around Goa....akka daytrips, give us a yell.....as for New Years we are heading to Edinburgh via germany on 26th Dec so enjoy the party in Goa. I think 30th Dec seems to be a good day. We should select a place that is not too expensive but does have a small cover charge so that we meet at a reasonably decent place.

Now IMers who have been to goa need to provide some good advice.

titio seems good, but what about a more relaxed place? we can meet around 5-6pm, so that drinking binge can start early.

tito seems to have got overhyped

We have decided on the date - December 30th. We are yet to decide on a specific Place and time.

I've only been to the beach shacks in anjuna. So, all of you who have recommended Anjuna, can you please suggest a time and place in Anjuna?

the date is fine and the time at 5 or 6 is also ok to start with.as for me the only place in anjuna i know is "the german bakery".as i`ll be coming from south goa a better known place atleast as a meeting point will be very helpful.
come on with your suggestions!!!!!

German bakery seems ok to me too. does it serve beer? or only cookies?

we will also be coming from colva, and there might be 3 of us, at last count.

is there are ferry from colva to anjuna? i would like to try a ferry trip also.
