IM Goa pub crawl

I shall be in Goa from the 1st of Nov onwards.

Any IM'ers wishing to join me in pubbing/clubbing or just wishing to have a good meal or maybe explore places off the beaten track around Goa-Ratnagiri-Gokarna are welcome!

If several people are interested then I shall organize a tour by minibus with everybody sharing the cost equally. If the numbers are small then we can hire bikes which are available at a very low cost.

Everybody is welcome.

I suspect a minibus will be too small GC, unless you are talking about several of them!

With GoanCanuck as the guide, if I was in Goa during that time, I'd be incredibly stupid, or too full of feni to miss the opportunity!

i'll be in gokarna from the 29th october ...keep me posted about your get-together (no pun intended).

not sure i'd be willing to venture up to goa, but if your tour includes nw karnataka i can lead you in the direction of the coldest beer in town !

If we get enough IM members we can have our own blast on NYE. I can arrange the sound, food , booze etc.
(Of course the cost will have to be shared equally)

I'm about to embark on my maiden journey to India, along with serveral other Canadians (I assume, since we're leaving from Vancouver) on Nov. 8--due to be in Goa Nov. 20/21. Since I don't know who the others on the tour will be I don't know if they're IM'ers...................

My assumption is that you're very familiar with India and it might be fun to talk with someone with more experience--if you're interested in talking with more Canadians that is..........

You are welcome to ask anything. I shall meet you and your group when you reach Goa. Are you guys going to India via Europe or Asia?

We're going the Pacific route on Singapore Air--leave Nov. 8 Van. to Seoul, to Singapore for a couple of days and then into Delhi............I've been wanting to visit India for almost 20 years and can hardly wait to get there. They tell me there could be about 30 of us on the tour but I haven't got my package yet and don't know the details.

I lived in Malaysia in the late 80's--hence my desire to visit India and, particularly, Goa. I ended up living with a fellow whose parents had emigrated from Goa to Malaysia before he was born. That was my 'intro' to Goa.

I like to tell people that I'm slow, but I always get there eventually.

Acc. to the info I have now, we'll be staying at the Ramada....

That is one of the best hotels in Goa.
