How to get a friend of mine to participate in one of the music festivals in Goa?

I was just wondering how to get a friend of mine to participate in one of the music festivals in Goa or any kind of live band or jamming session.He is actually from Karachi and is on a visit to India in september.He is a wonderful singer and an amazing guitar player.He is a huge Beatles fan and can cover alot of legends like Bob Dylan,Queen,Eric Clapton,the Doors,the Creams,Muddy Waters.He has played at many concerts in Karachi.So if there's anyone with any kind of knowledge about this or people i can contact,it would be of great help.

Tell him to go to Cavala on Friday nights(Cavala at Baga), good band there, they also allow others to jam up. Besides, there is a one man band at Souza Lobo's(on the beach at Calangute) - try on Friday, Saturday. Many amateurs sing here but can get excellent exposure as the place is always jam packed. Sweet Chilli in Candolim too has good scope for jamming up.

i doubt he will get much interest in september. from december good musicians can earn a living playing the bars of goa.
