How's the beach at Ashwem at the moment?

As the title says... how's the beach at Ashwem at the moment, has it been cleaned up post monsoon and does anyone know if Paradise shack is open yet? A colleague is heading out on his first visit to India at the end of the week staying near Ashwem at my recommendation - scary responsibility!

Ashwem is pretty quiet at this time. I guess it will take 1 or 2 weeks more for the places to open.

I would also recommend Morjim, although expensive accomodation on the whole.

Thanks, but he's decided where to say - I just wondered what conditions were like in Ashwem now.
Guess there's no one there yet...
