Hotel reservation mandatory for Feb 1st week?
Hi guys,
This is a very good forum. Hope I get answers to my questions. I am planning to visit Goa in Feb first week for about 5 days. I was looking for accomodation information online and read that there are cheap (but clean) hotels available even at Rs. 200 - 300 per day. However, I could not find information how to reserve a room there. The hotels that provide booking information online charge more (obviously cheap hotels will not have websites). My question is - "Is it ok to search for a room on arrival in Goa during February 2006 beginning, or should I reserve a room (not in the cheap hotel) and then go? I plan to travel with my wife. I want to stay in North Goa, near Calagunte beach." A list of cheap hotels (or beach huts) with contact information will be very helpful. Thank you, Dhir. |

Beach huts are not available in Calangute, Candolim and Baga. You will have to go to Palolem or to Asvem/Mandrem. You don't need to reserve a place in February.
