Hotel Availability/European Charters
Earlier, I posted a thread asking about how to find a hotel in Goa during peak season (late December/early January). All decent hotels seem to be full. I was told by one travel agent that a lot of European charter companies reserve a lot of rooms for their clients? Is this true? I was told that by November, some more rooms are available, but there is a "bidding war", and they hotels try to charge the highest tariff. Does anybody know the name of these European charter companies? Do they book just hotels (not flight and hotel)? I am thinking of purchasing hotel rooms from them. I already have my air ticket to Mumbai on Singapore Airlines from Vancouver, so I can't buy a flight to Goa.
