You just recommended these same beach huts and now you are critical of them! Have you stayed at these beach huts? If not it is very unethical of you to malign them on hearsay. ![]() |

just got back from Palolem...didn't stay in any high-end huts but did see some nice ones at the north end, not directly on the beach, just behind the Banyan Tree restaurant a place called "Dreamcatcher" which had some great looking huts from 1000 to 2500rps.
For eating i'd recommend a small, family run place called Fernandes (not Fernandes 2)...the food is great, especially the tandoori...mmmh! Ate there nearly every night in two weeks...and now we're back home on a diet! |

Hi,
I was in Palolem in late December - I stayed at Chattai (for 1 night - I'd stay elsewhere, lots of building work nearby), Sai Valentine (cheap cheerful and just what you need), and Dreamcatcher for 3 nights). Both of the last 2 were great, We looked at Ciarans but it was full. They have a beachfront honeymoon room with attached bath, v. luxurious, they also have rooms with a kind of terrace with a hammocks on the roof. I'd suggest giving them a call and see if you can book either...enjoy!! James |

I don't know how high end this is, as I went in the monsoon and lots of places were shut (including Dreamcatcher) but I remember wanting to check out Ordo Sounsar.
http://www.ordosounsar.com/ Looks like a good option to Ciarans. |

Hi, We went to Palolem for our Honeymoon in February this year, stayed at Cirians camp for a couple of nights it was everything you would want for a honeymoon. The place is just beautiful, infact as I sit here in my cubicle i can conjur up the whole feel of Palolem and wish I was back there right now (its freezing here at the moment!) What I would give to be having lunch, dinner sitting on the beach with a nice cold beer in hand watching the waves break... Enjoy!

I just tried to make a booking there for October 5th for 4 nights and they refused my booking at this time, as they are not sure if they will be up and running at that time...
Anyone know of any other huts similar that would be open??? I am soooo disappointed. ![]() |
