http://www.palolem.com/PTS.asp
will give you an idea for beach huts ect ect when are you planning to go ? We never take maleria tablets but as its your health and not mine then its upto you You may find it very hard to get a reply from some of the emails you send but just keep sending Also they dont open till late october when they have to rebuild the huts after being taken down for monsoon season Hopefully this year they will only put the huts and cafes up that they pay tax on ,as for last year it looked like a bomb site when local officials along with a bulldozer knocked 40% of the huts down |

hi
Hi thanks for the URL. Im still not sure about the malaria tablets, dont really want to take them. I also heard that the beach huts in Palolem are closed till late October. I guess I could find a guest house in Arambol in early/mid October. Thanks.

Hi Ali
youd be far better off staying in a guest house for the lenth of time youll be staying as people tend to forget the beach huts in the mornings when you wake up and because of the sea air is very damp which is ok for a few days but for a lenthy stay may cause ill health im sure where ever you decide youll have a great time Dont stay to long in 1 place goa has incredible beaches both north and south and panjim/ calungute north is so full of life ill .Well be there 27th dec for 3 weeks as i cant get longer off work but im so looking forward to going again sharon |

Re malaria tablets. The general word now is not to take them for prevention but have a dose with you for treatment if diagnosed. Malarone seems to be the best. Get the dose in the Uk as may not be available in India. It's not cheap but has quite a long shelf-life.
