Anytime is good time to go to Goa. When in Bombay, either catch a plane or take the train which leaven Bombay at approx 10'o clock at night. Train takes 10 hours, plane takes an hour.
Depending on ur budget n staying preference, can provide u contact nos for acco.

Book Your train before hand as this is a busy stretch, the season will be tailing off iin May with many of the resorts quiet and in the process of closing down. It will be very warm and the seas rough.
Sorry to put it like this but May isn't the best time to enjoy Goa's coast!!
Places like Candolim, Calangute. Arambol and Palolem will still have some restaurants that are open but expect Goa to be quiet, though not devoid of entertainment!!
There will still be a few stragglers around to share a beer with though!
