Help......need leads!

Hi,

People all I keep finding through the 'search engine' are the many Goan Holiday Home websites with rental prices at 15k - 25k rupees a month. Madness....because I just require a normal apartment with a/c and hopefully a washing machine and I hear you can get them for less than 10k. However, as I say I have not had much luck.

I'm looking for a 2 bed apartment for 6 months from November 2007...or atleast some leads and info etc

All help/advise appreciated

Not sure what search engine you mean, sounds like Google to me.

This site offers its own search engine, and a Google search box on the frontpage to search just the site, both have their merits and drawbacks. There's also the Hotel Listings section that might have something to offer.

Don't waste your time searching online. You will not find anything suitable in your price range. Wait until you are in Goa and spend a few days in Candolim and Calangute exploring what is available. More than 90% of the apartments available are not advertised, just word of mouth.

Hi,
If you go to Candolim pop into the Fisherman's Cove by the Fruit Market, and ask for Lenny or Blaise I believe they have flats to rent(the food is excellent there as well) or go across the road to the ladies hairdressers (Saina's) her husband lets apartments.
Have a good time.

Cool...I mean I do not mind paying 15k a month...but it is silly when I can get cheaper and probably in some cases better!

Cheers GoanCanuck

Room Rent = Rs 35/-
Break Fast - Rs 25/-
Lunch Rs 20/-
Dinner Rs 25

If I have break fast, lunch and dinner in a day, then I have to pay Rs 5 ONLY.
