help me plan my last day in goa (4th)

Hi all,

After reading much on this forum, I have finalized my itinerary.
Seems like Calangute is the place to be for shopping, sea sports, parties etc. So I will spend 3 nights there at Alor Holiday resort. I assume all kinds of sightseeing can be done from here on my own by taxi/bike.

The 4th night, I want to go to some "not so crowded" beach and just chill there without being bothered. Ofcourse something that is safe as I am travelling with my wife. Also, I need to catch my flight at 2PM the next day .. so a beach closer to airport. Also suggest any hotel close to the beach around 1500-2k per night.

Here is a list i found on the net (surprised to see baga , candolim ... so dunno how far to trust this)
http://www.goa-and-hotels.com/not-so...es-of-goa.html

Thanks!

If you are looking for parties and night life, then Baga and Anjuna are your best bet..

well, not really interested in nightlife. Would rather prefer quiet solitude enjoying nature.
Would prefer a sea-facing beach resort type stay. In a budget of 1500 max. Are there any such places?
I might even do 2 at calangute and 2 at such a quiet beach.
Let me know.

Benaulim beach suits your needs.
Palolem is ideal, but further down in south Goa.

I suggest you leave calangute completely out and head to south goa.90 mn from the airport with a taxi and you reach palolem, you will find nice places to stay there.Or go to patnem, just south of palolem, you can then visit talpona and galgibag beaches with a bike, lovely spots.
