Help! Has anyone been to Palolem recently?

Hello!

I am due to go to Palolem for a week in April. I have just read some postings on this site about various demolition work that has pappend there. I am now worried that the place will be a deserted mess!

Does anyone know what it is like? Thank-you!

Brilliant!

And do you know by any chance if Ciarans Camp, Cozy Nook and Dream Catchers are still there?

How many places were actually taken away in the end?

Thank-you!!!

All open I've been told!!

Some shops have gone for good on the shore road but as far as I can see, pretty much everybody got the licenses to trade renewed. The problem was trading outside of the designated trading season which begins in October through to June, outside of this shacks are supposed to be packed away, inside the Coastal Zone!!

Palolem has a lively beach scene, better than most other places. The cafes and bars too are brimming with people, especially Del mar and Cuba, among others.

Cozy Nook etc

Cozy Nook Dreamcatcher and Ciarans Camp are all still here. Everything's fine again now.

Cafe del Mar

Cafe del Mar had excellent huts behind the bar in 2003. Does this place still have great huts?

Is the Brown Bread Cafe still running on the road parallel with the beach?
