Golf Courses

Hello,

Any golfers out there who can give me some tips on the best golf course in Goa, green fees or websites to look at? Are there any expat golf societies in Goa or groups that meet up regularly to play?

I'd be greatful for any info. We are hoping to spend 4 months in Goa this winter and my boyfirend is a keen golfer so he will be looking for fellow players.

Many thanks
Kate

Thank you very much CRVLRV, I have seen it and noted the two courses mentioned.

I was hoping that some golf enthusiasts might give me some local knowledge, like.... are these the only two courses in Goa or are there others that I won't find online? Is it easy / cheap to play in Goa as a non-member? Are there any 18 hole courses?

Thanks
Kate

The only other golf course is the one belonging to the Indian Navy. Not open to the general public. Goa is most definitely not a suitable place for a golfing holiday. There are other parts of the world with better options.

Thanks for this. I was beginning to suspect that this might be the case. Looks like it's back to Thailand again then!
