Goan Football
Hi,
I will be back in Goa this week and was hoping to see some football while there. Does anyone know which teams play in Goa in the national league and where do they play and is it currently the season? On my previous trips to Goa I have seen many local games on small pitches but was wanting a bit more of a professional standard even if it is just the Goan pro, semi-pro league. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. ![]() |

Never saw any Soccer or Football in Goa ....even hard to scare up a Tennis Match ... everybody is always at the beach.
Have you checked out Indianfootball.com? - Lots of information there .... drop them a note, I'm sure they can answer your question! http://www.indianfootball.com/

You can watch matches of the Indian Nfl at the Fatorda stadium in Margao. Several Goan clubs are playing there.

I wouldn't mind watching a soccer game while in Goa, that's if, I'm not drunk off my arse on the beach.
Is soccer football the most popular sport in Goa?
