Hello out there,
We are planning to travel Goa end of August with two kids 7 & 9. Therefore it would be great if someone has a few nice suggestions where to go and stay (not first and not last class), and what to see or enjoy. We have travelled Tamil Nadu & Kerala last year and had a very very nice time. Our children loved India and enjoyed the travelling a lot. It is true that the monsoon will be over in August? For any help many thanks in advance!!!!!! Cinnamonelves |

Hi, a while back we stayed at Presa di Goa (http://presadigoa.com) which was very nice without being over the top. The place has a decent size swimming pool, large garden, 7 very nice rooms and super helpful staff.
We do not have kids but met several couples with kids and they told us they were very happy with the place. Presa di Goa is not on the beach but they run a free transport service throughout the day and it takes less then 10 minutes to get there. There is also a restaurant, not really amazing but ok food with ok prices. |

Hallo Hans,
thanks very much for your letter. You did a very nice job on your report. I will try to do that too.....some day. It is very helpful for traveller´s with kids. Last year we did not get any response on our quetions concerning travelling with kids. Just 2 dissuades. But they probably thought we where going up north. South India was fine.Mamallapuram, Auroville, Pondicherry, Madurai,Kumily, Allapuzha, Backwaters, Varkala, Kovalam was our route. ... 6 Weeks In August September 2005. It was just GREAT! This year we will do some more Tamil Nadu, and try Goa at the end. I hope the weather will be fine. Enjoy & Greetings, Cinnamonelves. |
