Goa: Where the heck is the party? Found One!

Am I too early in the season or what's wrong?

Arrived in Arambol a week ago, went down to Vagator and then moved on to Anjuna...not one chance to dance so far. Have seen the Nine Bar from the outside, but that main stream techno turned me off, yikes... On Shiva Beach there is also not much happening, it seems. I wouldn't mind dancing in a restaurant if the athmosphere is OK, where can I go? Jeeze, feeling itchy

I'd like to go to Hampi, too, should I do that first and when I come back after a few weeks there is more going on here?

Thanks in advance

Some people on this forum might shoot me for saying this, but if you can't find atmosphere for now, might have to head to Baga or Calangute, or try Palolem, even though it's less atmospheric than the northern spots. Try Tito's, Club Cubana, etc All the popular spots for a dance, but it all depends on what YOU want.

Mambo's is alright. Drinks are a bit steep, but meh. I played pool with the security guard there on quieter nights. Met two gorgeous women from Bombay there too.

Peacefulplanet, it´s a peacefulplanet indeed - sometimes, somewhere at full moon. Try out the island Ko Pha Ngan in Thailand and get happily stoned, but Goa is definetely the wrong place in 2007 for your music drug.

It has to be a loose fit. On a happy monday. Madchester rules!

nine bar is never really busy in my experience. It's good for a sunset beer if you can handle the goan rave banging out but i've never seen a real party there.

and what is it with goan rave? everywhere the same awful banging techno...aargh!!!

You look to be going to the wrong places. Had wild time earlier this week.

Apparently Daniel&Rahul were all-too confident when announcing to be open latest by the 2nd weekend in Nov. I wonder, if there are some officials who feel being missed out.
