Goa: What are some of the good beach hotels near the city?
What are some of the good mid-price *beach* hotels not too far from the city?
Required: Western style toilet, running hot water, AC room. Desirable: In house breakfast, swimming pool, email station. Unnecessary: Gym, conference center, gift shops, big name. An Indian place with somewhat unique character is much more desirable than an international chain. (But if none is available, a chain will do.) All comments appreciated. Ho, ho, my new screen only shows colors of pale green and maroon red so I can barely read it (old geezer phenomena). Maybe I should make an adjustment. After all it did come with a big page on the front that said to do so..

Wouldn't it be funny if he actually responded with a "Thank's" after all this time.

Fat chance, as the original poster is a member who's, er, no longer with us (in terms of membership that is, not to sound too sinister).
May be a good moment though to point out once again that Goa is a state albeit a small one, not a city or town as some seem to believe. Hence, looking for local directions, the question of where in Goa is of the essence.

Of course, it could be closed or deleted. But why really. It's a part of site history.
If you had not revived it and brought it back to top by posting, it would have rested again in the archives where it belongs ![]() |
