Goa Trip June 3 - 6

Hello!

We are a group of 4 families planning a Goa trip on June 3 to June 6. After reading a few posts on this forum, I found Palolem and Agonda beaches to be great. That means, I should stick to South Goa.

I actually need your help in planning an itinerary. Moreover, looking for a good accommodation/hotel within walking distance of a beach which has wifi and AC (and of course, good place to eat as the group consists of 2 kids apart from 8 adults.)

When I inquired about the beach huts, I got the info that they would be dismantled by then. Anyway as I said AC is a must have, so looking for a good hotel.

We would be traveling from Hyderabad and heard that hiring 2 wheelers is a good option to enjoy in beaches.

Any recommendations please.....

Thanks in advance.

Majority of beach huts would have been dismantled by that time as its off season and monsoon would have probably just set in by that time.
Goa experts can guide you better, but my personal opinion is Baga area seems to be a better choice during June for family. More hotels to choose from...

Cheers!

Based on your opinion, it is better to look at North Goa.

I would be making my trip from Hyderabad through APSRTC bus. Just want to know, whether it would travel from South Goa or not.

If the bus route is through South Goa, then I can drop at some point and visit south goa beaches like Palolem, Agonda and Colva. After a night stay, could I then move to North Goa?

If this is possible, then I would not waste time in moving from north to south.

Please do help me so that I can plan it well.

You are missing the point. If the monsoon has set in (official start date 2nd June if all is running to plan), the beaches are a very nasty place to be, as are most other places due to constant heavy rain (North or South, no difference)

Having said all that, you may be lucky and the rains are late, a few years ago they held off till 2nd July (the day I arrived), but as it is a weather issue, its difficult to plan this far ahead.
