The train from Goa (Madgaon) to Pune takes 13.5 hours.

The Deccan Gymkhana area of Pune, along with Junglee Maharaj Road, has a no. of hotels to suit all budgets.

A Puneite on this forum will be able to guide you better on the hotels front !

Grom Goa to Pune

Night bus from Goa to Pune is very comfortable. Leaves around 8 pm and arrives around 7 am. Leaves in Panjim under the Mandovi River Bridge.

hi anjunaangel...

i dont know how cheap you want it. what is your budget like?

you might want to check out hotel sunderban in koregaon park next to the osho ashram. they have some decent rooms...locality is excellent....i'm not sure how much the rooms are for.....if i am in the area i will ask them..

if you are a coffee fan then you will love this place since they have a barista outlet on the premises...

Why don't you think of a bus journey? It's going to be more convenient if you're heading out of North Goa. FN

Goa to Pune bus

You could try the 'sleeper' bus. It's an adapted bus that has sleeping place (instead of seats). The place is minimal, so some prefer to block two tickets instead of one. Some people tend to love this way of travellings; but must caution you, others hate it. FN
