Just find the fruit trees in Goa. A lot of the old Portuguese houses have the trees that the bats like.

I keep hoping the cricket threads are going to be about insects!

I'm always sadly disappointed .

If you scroll down halfway on this page it looks like there is a "Huge colony " of bats just outside Panjim http://www.geocities.com/shearwater2...ngGoa2001.html

We saw large bats flying with crows the other day. Couldn't work out of the crows were chasing the bats, or they were just 'hanging out' together. Any idea?

Bats in Goa

Hello

In response to the bat request. I witness an amazing evening ritual, every evening from the aldona side of the highway, if you look towards Mapuca...the fruit bats come out at dusk....in huge numbers. Its quite a sight...check it out if your still in goa and looking for them fruit bats!:-)
