Cool Weather at the moment

Hi,

Anyone know what the weather is doing in Goa at the moment, read on another site that it is hotter than usual for this time of year even the locals are complaining.

Only two weeks off my own trip, was hoping it would still be a bit cooler for the first couple of weeks in November at least.

Any news anyone

Thanks

The weather is pretty hot at the moment.... One of our volunteers arrived yesterday and after 5 mins was soaking... If you're coming to relax then it shouldn't be too bad, but I think it was recorded as about 38 degrees yesterday, I have to say the evenings are a little warm for my liking... If you haven't got air con and then added to that the electricity goes off it can be very stuffy... Hope that helps

Thanks

Rob

It's normal at this time of year. We had some light rain 2 nights ago. Plenty of flies about as well. With a bit of luck it will cool down a bit by November.

and 1 to cool down

Must be a personal thing, I do not find it particularly hot or humid. Perhaps because we are a little land inwards.

It's hot and humid, but I find it perfectly comfortable in the shade. You can always dip your feet in the sea. I think people the world over complain about the weather. I like hot and humid. My problem is with cold and I tend to exaggerate it. I just told my uncle about how if he visits India this winter we can't go north because of how cold it gets in Delhi. Then I remembered he is from Chicago! So it depends on what you can handle and who you talk to. I'm perfectly comfortable here without a/c and I was out all day today- saw many tourists.

Goa has a micro climate, so anything can happen, like this year is stayed lovely, with cool evenings right up until April, not a annual norm but there you go.
Generally it stays a bit on the humid side until mid November when it starts to cool off and the climate fro December through to February is probably one of the best in India. One of the reasons Goa remains popular despite all the bad press it recieves.
