Goa Questions - Please Help! arriving tomorrow

Hey folks!
I'll be arriving in Goa tomorrow and have several questions which I hope you can help with. Sorry if much of this has been covered, but I'm in a sloooooow internet cafe in Hampi and it would take me forever to use the search function. THANKS in advance for any assistance ....

1. Is it possible to jet-ski in Goa? If so, where?

2. I want to stay somewhere nice for my 1st week (over Xmas). Can anyone recommend a good hotel with pool (pref. no more than 2500R per night, double room).

3. Is there a 'planet M' or some other good music shop somewhere in Goa (to buy Cds & DVDs) ?

4. Is there a cinema showing recent Bollywood films??

5. Is there any good shop to buy Tabla?

6. Is there anywhere to buy good clothing? (Western stuff, good quality or branded)? - most of my stuff is already trashed after just 3 weeks here!!

7. Is there anywhere to buy good, branded sunglasses?? I broke mine in the 1st week and can't find a decent replacement pair anywhere!! All the opticians only seem to sell Ray-Ban and I don't like any of them!

8. Any good sports shops? Somewhere to buy a badminton racket?

Please help. I would really appreciate it! Thanks so much! :-)

Oh! and is there a particular area/street in Panjim I should go to for good shops?? and speaking of shopping, are there any shops to buy underwear? (normal, Western stuff)? I've found that underwear is extremely difficult to find in India unless you want weird pants from the street! lol!

Several cinemas in Panjim and Margao, Films showing are listed in the Heald and Navhind times. Several shops selling western underware in Panjim (try 18th July Rd) There is a good shop for Musical instruments and CDs in Margao I think it is called Sounds Plus. Just off the road from the Municipal Gardens to the main bus stand (Abade Farina Rd). Its about 100mts down ofrom the gardens on the left

Panjim has several stores that carry brand names (I recall seeing Levis signs and buying some shoes at Bata). I can't remember a particular street, but it a pretty small place and shouldn't be hard to find.

These are the answers to your questions in order.
1) You can jet-ski on the southern end of Candolim where the Fort Aguada Beach Resort is located but they charge a lot! Rs 500 for 15 minutes.

2) I answered this question in another thread started by you.

3) The best shop for CD's and DVD's is Rock'n'Raaga which is located in Panjim. This is the address,

Rock'n'Raaga
25, Rizvi Towers, Nr Pharmacy College, 18th June Rd;
Panjim, Goa. 2422841

4) The Inox multiplex in Panjim has the latest movies. Any cabdriver will be able to take you there.

5) Ask the manager of the Rock'n'Raaga. She will guide you to the correct store.

6) Just ask the taxi driver to drop you off at the Panjim garden which is in the middle of Panjim. There are tons of stores/boutiques located around the garden. You can start off at Bharne's and also check out Velho and Filhos.

7) Lawrence & Mayo have the biggest selection of eyewear in Goa. They are located at,
No 36, Macarenhas Building, M.G.Road, Panaji, Goa- 403001

and

Florida-1, No3&4, Abade Faria Road, Margao, Goa-403601

8) There is a sports shop opposite the Panjim garden selling badminton rackets.
