Goa On Mid Sep.
hi you guys...
we have reached that point of huge confusion and we dont know where we would like to go from here. i find it harder for for me to visit here on the third time since there is something inside of me that wants more, to see more, it seems that i have become bord and indefrent to india ....we are now in rishkesh, after the VOF which was, how to say...mmm.. a bit crazy, details will be posted later on. so now we are thinking of going to goa on mid sep. after visiting mandu, maheshwar and omkreshwar. how is goa at that season? full of pepole? quiet empty but still some travellers to socialaze with? sunny? hope your answers will help our confusion. maybe we should just let ma india take us to where we need to go next... thanks the confused malai and her husbend |

You will not find too many tourists in mid September. You can expect some rainfall during that period.

It will also be very beautiful because of all the rain. Very lush and green. Dudhsagar Falls must be impressive then.

Arambol is nice. Should be a few people about then. Vagator has a few beaches. Not bad. Though I prefer Arambol over Vagator. But I like the south of Goa the most. Less crowded and more beautiful IMHO. And less expensive also.

the only thing, that i dont now if it reasonble or not- is that we are flying back home from delhi and to go further south mught be too much, but then again, if we are in goa how far is the north beches from the south ones? it looks like a small district, isnt it?

The difference in the beaches from North to South Goa are relatively subtle. The beach areas differ in the crowds and in the facilities. Some have very fancy hotels and some have relatively simple shacks.
I like Goa because I am from Goa but there are excellent beaches in the state just north of Goa as well and they are generally much quieter as they are further from the airport which is in Goa. Goa is only about 119 kilometers from North to South and so the difference in distance from Delhi is negligible. There is a beach called Tel Aviv beach in North Goa because it is popular with Israelis. I met a young Israeli woman (20 years?) in the US who wished to travel in India but said it was dangerous and her Dad would not let her go (even after IDF). I assured her it was safe; perhaps I should put her in touch with you. Send me an email if you wish more information about Goa. Shalom ![]() |
