Goa Nightlife

Any good clubs are bars to go too? Parties? Im a city boy so i enjoy the mainstream, clubby, wild parties. After making my thread about the dress code, im starting to think Goa's not like that and more of a chill relax place. I'll be there from the 17th-25th of Nov. so if anyone know of anything, please let me know.

Where in Goa are you going? In Baga there is Tito and Mambos, also near Arpora, Club cubana which are all pretty mainstream, for more goa trance head to Paradiso in anjuna and if that is your bag then you might catch a rave up at hilltops in Vagator also. There is also a place that does sunrise parties on the road from baga to anjuna (was last year)

Contrary to popular perception Goa is not a party spot by any means. In the early 90's of course there were quite a few all night parties which used to take place.

Martin-d did mention you quite a many places already.
You'll also get fliers about the parties, when you're there.

And surely you'll get to see and hear the car advertizing Club Cubana.
That's the place where you need to visit at least once. View from up there is gorgeous. It is the place for you whether you want do dance, meet people or relax (swimming pool, beds and massage) or all of them at the same time. Local guys needed to have an avec, I don't know how it is with foreigners. But the way up there is rather, how should I say, thrilling... Not all taxes wish to drive up there.

As a lone female I was adviced not to go to Paradiso or Hilltop, at least Paradiso by myself. Maybe somebody else can give their opinion.

If you wish to dance while the setting sun, try Nine Bar in Vagator (beautiful scenery!) or Shore Bar on wednesday, it's the shack in Anjuna beach.

If you just wish to chill-out, the best music you find from the Lilliput shack in Anjuna beach.

Remember that many partyplaces close to local accommodation close up around 11PM. (Not Cubana, Mambos, Titos, Paradiso, Hilltop etc.)

But above all the clubs mentioned here I personally prefer Club West-End.

I don't think that is open anymore, is it? Forgot about nine bar, excellent sunset club, then you could do worse than head to Primrose

Club Westend is now closed and Primrose has been converted into a cybercafe. 9 Bar is but a shadow of its former self with Hindi music being played to entertain the mainly Indian customers.

That's not necessarily bad at all, since I thought Hindi music was lacking from Goa.

People from outside India do not come to Goa to listen to Hindi music. If some one wants to listen to or learn Hindi music then there are hundreds of places in India other than Goa which provide much better options.

Oh yes they do

And love the stickdance -
Is there a place in Goa where you get to dance it?
Where do they usually dance it in India, not in the clubs, right?

Hi everybody,
This is the first time i have posted after many months sitting on the sidelines and watching.
Last year was my first trip to India ( Goa ) and i had many great nights there.
Keep your eyes open for the 'Hilltop parties'as these were for me by far the best.
Visiting the 'Nine Bar' in vagator would be a good place to start off if you want to find out what is happening with parties.
Interesting international crowd mixed with friendly locals it hit the spot for me last year.
Best to get there late afternoon to watch the sun set.
Have Fun!!!
