Cool Goa- New Years Eve 2006

Hey Peeps! I Was Wondering If Anyone Could Let Me Know About Goa On New Years Eve. Where Is The Best Party Place Or Beach To Be At On New Years Eve? Me And My Friends Are Comming From Australia Just For New Years Eve, So We Would Like To Know Where Would The Best 5 To 4 Star Hotels Be In Goa That Would Be The Closest To The Beach Or Party Place During New Years Eve???
Thanks.....

I checked a few months ago, and all the five star hotels in Goa are already booked full for NYE.

There is no such thing as a private beach in India. All beaches in India belong exclusively to the Government of India and there has never been a sale of a beach in India although many wealthy businessmen from Mumbai and Delhi have tried their best to do so.

I hope you are aware that for New Years Eve a room in a five star hotel can cost you close to $1000/night. If your employer is going to be paying the cost then it is OK but for any individual to pay that kind of money is crazy in my opinion unless you have so much money that you don't know what to do with it. Well you can always give it to charity

US $1000/night for a 5 star hotel room in India is what you are talking about on a new Years Eve night, Dont you think its pretty crazy ?? Well i have not much idea but i have bought a package for Rs.24,000/- for 3 days stay during New Years eve. Probably those are prices for Foreigners in US $.
Also, Hotel has some land acquired which no tresspasser or outside can get inside and that particular part is their private beach part.
No offences to anybody !!

There is no such thing as a private beach in India. What some hotels do is they buy the land adjoining the beach to block access to the beach but that does not mean that the beach belongs to the hotel! You can take a boat and land up on the beach and have your own picnic if you so wish. There is nothing the hotel can do to stop you.
