Goa-March

I am planning to visit Goa..next march. How is march as a season? I want to spend 2 weeks there. Please recommend some budget accomodation. Is it better to stay at on place or going around 3-4 different places?

March is warm (some would say hot). Palolem is a nice beach in the South but there are other lovely places in North also, like Arambol. I recomend you visit North and South.

March was OK this year. It got hot and uncomfortable in May.

goa in march

There are so many nice places to stay north, south, depending what your budget is you can get rooms for as little as 250/-a night, but that also depends on what you require and how basic you want things, rooms mainly have bed, wardrobe, bathroom, shower some have basic cooking facilities but eating out can be really cheap if you remain within the local places and not the tourists bars and rests.

I was there in March / April last year and it was fine - it was certainly warming up by then but this scares quite a lot of people away and the beaches get a bit more empty. March is a good time to go, in my opinion. I stayed until mid-April (if I remember correctly). It was getting mighty hot by then.

If you're only going for a couple of weeks, I'd stay in one place and use it as a base for a few excursions elsewhere. Renting a scooter's a good way to get off the beaten track a bit and see more of the beautiful countryside.

Arambol in the North's nice. Here's a couple of decent budget places to stay:

Jilda Sea Breeze

Piya Guesthouse

Have fun.
