Goa Itinerary - Suggession

Hi,

I will be visitng Goa from 27th Oct to 30th Oct with my wife. I will land there on 27th Oct - 04:30 PM, and will will leave on 30th Oct -5:50 PM. I will be staying at Varca beach.

I have planned this itinerary -

27th Oct - Reach Goa, check in, spend time at Varca beach

28th Oct - Leave early morning, 08:00 AMish, hire a motor-bike, ride to Old Goa
Visit Se Cathedral, Asisi Church and Basillica De Bom Jesus
Reach Aguada fort by 12:00 PM, spend a hour there and ride towards Vagator beach, visitng all the beaches en-route
Leave Vagator beach by 06:00 PM, reach Varca by 07:00-07:30.

29th Oct - Visit Madgaon, ride towards Palolem, visiting Mobor-Cavelossim en-route
Spend time at Palolem, visit Butterfly beach

30th Oct - Check-out by 10:00 AM, goto Colva beach, spend time there till 03:00 PM, leave for Airport

I know 28th is very hectic, but I want to cover old Goa Churches and Calangue/Baga stretch both. And can't do these in two separate days.

Does this itinerary seem alright or I have made it too hectic. Please suggest.

Also, are there any places at Varca which give Motot-cycles at hire?

Thanx

Nitin

Too hectic! After travelling so much on 28th you will not be in good shape. You are planning on travelling almost 150km in one day on a bike on congested roads.

Another help needed. I to hire a bike during my stay in Goa.

Are there any bike rental companies at the Dabolim airport? Or will I have to go to Vasco to hire one.

The duration of hire will be from 5:00 PM, 27th Oct to 4:00 PM, 30th Oct - less than 36 hours. Is this counted as three days or four days? And what is the going rate for hiring a Honda Activa?

Thanx

You can't hire a bike at the airport or at Vasco. In Benaulim or Varca you can hire a bike. Just ask one of the waiters at the beach shacks and they will guide you. You will pay around Rs 150-200/day.
