Goa in September

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone can help me I am planning a trip in September 08 and am looking at travelling to Goa and Keralla. I seem to be getting mixed reports on the weather I realise it is Monsoon season and probably not the best time to travel.

Has anyone travelled to Goa in the first 2 weeks of Septmeber and if so what was the weather like? And also were there many things closed such as beach shacks/restaurants and is the anjuna flea market open at this time.

If anyone can help or advise me it would be greatly appreciated.

I have been in Goa from July -Jan . When i was there Sept was really good,the rains was mostly at night. This year the monsoon has been a long one and it was still raining a few weeks ago.
But you have to remember its still hot enough in Goa to walk round in t shirts, but you have to wear wellies !

As it is out of season the shacks,markets etc will all be closed.You will find a handful of restaraunts open,but that is all.

I was just in Goa in September...21st for 9 days...It rained quite abit but was still hot out..There is practically nothing opened, but we quite enjoyed it anyways, as we were visitng friends in Goa and we mostly did things with them.

Some days it did get really hot and humid, but it was cloudy alot..In the evenings it just poured.

Would i go to Goa again in September??? Probably!!!!
