smart, not crazy!
Hi there, adigott.
I think mid-September is a very nice time to be in Goa. Mostly, although it will still rain a little, you should have long spells of sunshine each day. I've been there twice at that time of year and found the rain came only in the afternoons/ evenings. You might be unlucky and get a late monsoon, but I think activities like swimming and being on the beach will be possible most days. You'll see very few tourists, and for this reason you might find you have to walk further to find a restaurant to eat in (most beach shacks don't open up until November), but the green, the absence of beach sellers and the freshness in everything make it worth it, in my view. Be sure to ask for an off season discount when looking for place to stay. ![]()
