Goa in November

Is palolem really busy in November? Where is good in Goa to smoke chillums relax and enjoy the culture and scenery in Goa?

Palolem is fairly busy in November but not too busy. As far as smoking chillums is concerned Arambol is the best along with Mandrem and Palolem.

Is it better for relaxation in Om and Paradise Beach just outside Goa... as opposed to Pallolem???

Yes, Om beach is great for relaxing. A better beach than Palolem but it lacks facilities. Be prepared to rough it out.

There are enough beaches in Goa and you will find one that is that is fairly not crowded if you go off the netaen path. I was there durring NYE, and Candolim beach was not crowded but Baga was completely packed. Most tourists go "where the bus drops them off" . Rent a scooter/moped and explore.

November is off season. rates will be lower.

Last week the cops caught a dealer here in Palolem. now.. he can pay 600.000Rs our (not official) go for 10 years to jail.
Yeah India:" Saap kuch melega!*"

The drugs are getting a problem here. Its not the chanti chanti atmosphere anymore.. fights, cops, cheating... where is the time that things like that where not that obvious

But anyway... I still like the country! it's giving me the freedom to explore my own world.
