shack guys are the guys who work at the beach shacks, if the season is busy, they are friendly, if not then they are like wolverines, they behave pretty strange sometimes which i cant stand a moment and to get into a fight with these guys is like digging your grave right there, best way is ignore and tip them, tip them and they will be your slave for that particular day,.

Both quieter places but it depends how close you want to be to baga and what kind of things you want to do?

the only reason i would go to baga is for water sports, iam friends with a guy who owns some speed boats in goa, usually we rent the boat for few hrs, stack up some beers and go deep in the ocean, swimming in the middle of the ocean is kinda but not the craziest thing i have ever done in my life.

Do you mind staying further out in a quiet area or would you rather be in walking distance to the beach/clubs/bars etc? Are you going with anybody else or off on your own?

Taxi's are cheap enough but they do try charge you more at night. Then again, if there is a few people in the taxi and you split the cost its gonna be cheap anyway

They are about 10 mins from baga beach by taxi 300rps max.But candolin beach is only 5 mins away .By the way the food in both restuarants is to die for
