Goa in December
I am going to Goa around 21st of Dec. I'd wanted to find out about some cheap place to stay in around/close to Baga Beach. Could someone suggest a few rents? I am a student travelling with my friends, so am low on money and have simple basic requirements for travel. Something around Rs. 500 a night would be really good.
And i'd also like to know around when i should start my bookings. A few links would be all the more helpful. Thanks a lot... |

Ok,
I now need advice with regards to which part of Goa would be cheaper in terms of accomodation during Dec (from 21st onwards, which i think is the peak season). I want to know about Hotels/Guest Houses that wud charge Rs.500 or less per night. Am on a shoe-string budget! My plans are still flexible and i am open to staying at any part of Goa, as long as it is along the coast/on the beach. Thanx a lot! |

I'm not uptodate with current room prices but perhaps another option is, if you are really budget then get over to the Anjuna,Vagotor, Chapora area & seek out a basic room at the back of someones house. I would imagine 500rps (or less) would be a nice little earner. It would be a matter of turning up there & waiting for the obligatory small boys to say " You want room,,,,,,,,,,,,,"

This season is shaping up to be probably the busiest season ever and as a result the prices are going up through the roof. There has been an average increase of 20-25% from last season.
Considering the fact that you want to rent a room during the busiest time of the year be prepared to dig deep into your wallet. The only place you will have a reasonably good chance of getting anything suitable is Palolem/Patnem or Arambol. Forget about Baga. |
