Goa: How much for 6 months?

My wife and I are thinking of spending 6 months a year in Goa and are trying to work out how much money to bring.
We are looking at the months from October to March.
Money is not a problem so we are looking at somewhere half decent to shack up for 6 months.
So a rough guide to how much everything would cost would be a big help i.e rent entertainment ect.
Regards to all.
Lenny.

Rent will cost you between £125-£175 a month. You might get a apartment for less. Cant answer any more questions cause it all depends where you are going to have your meals. You can eat and drink in a local place and will cost you £2 or you could eat in the Taj hotel and that will put a few 00 on the price.

The rental rates vary widely, with no rhyme or reason for the differences. The best way to get settled is to take an inexpensive hotel room for a week or so, and just look around. Hire a rickshaw driver for a few hours, or for the day. Find an area you like, and walk up to the door and ask if they have rentals available. You will find some hidden gems this way. If you are eating in restaurants, plan on $15-$20 USD a day for 2 of you. It gets a whole lot cheaper when you cook for yourself. We live here for about USD 1000 to 1500 quite comfortably.
