Post Goa hotel (Palolem, Panjim, Anjuna) help needed

I'm going to Goa on the 8th of December with my boyfriend and two friends for a week and we are desperately trying to find somewhere to stay in Palolem. We're looking for a bit of luxury -nothing fancy - en suite bathroom/shower, aircon would be good but happy with ceiling fans - something like Ciaran's Camp. We have emailed them but no reply - getting worried now as don't like the idea of just pitching up. Could someone recommend something in Palolem (also Panaji for the 1st night and Anjuna for the Tueday night before the market)? I would be grateful for any ideas given

Thanks

For my first couple of nights around 27th Dec last year I stayed at the Palolem Guest House, in Palolem, which would suit your requirements. I booked this on the internet in advance. However, it is not directly on the beach, but a 5-10 min stroll from the back of the beach huts at the south end of Palolem. Has a nice restaurant/bar too with friendly waiters. I stayed in the old block, but they also have a newer block attached. Rooms were a good size, with ensuite and a large balcony. Think the price was around 1200rp a night. I found it great for starters and was then able to search the beaches and find a suitable hut on Patnem for the rest of my stay. Hope this is helpful.

Palolem Beach Resort has tents and rooms (Ac and no AC), with attached baths. The rooms have hot water showers and fans (last year 700 inr and 1200 AC. Tents (they have also with and without facilities) are cheaper (350?)
Not as posh as Ciarans (which is much more expensive like 2500 and up) but comfortable and quiet in a nice garden.

try Villa Anjuna in Anjuna - it's close to the beach and pretty comfortable - A/C, good pool, almost good restaurant but lots of others close by, big rooms and great hot water.
White Negro is a bit closer to the market but I can't seem to get an answer to my emails... Villa Anjuna are very efficient about answers... email Nelson on anjunavilla@hotmail.com
