Goa helpm with itinerary

My son and his friend, both 23 years old, will be in Goa Sep. 2 thru 5th. They want to see the historic Goa and also, lounge on the beaches ( when it's not raining) and have some fun. where should they stay? It is their first time in India and they will be flying in from Bangalore. Their budget is about $100 per day. They can stay an extra day if needed, as their total time in India is only 11 days.

Kamat Holiday Home - 600-800 a day
Food - I recommend Infantaria for snacks, Souza Lobo for lunch and dinner as well as Britto's at Baga.
While travelling, avail of autorickshaws - Charge about 100 rupees for every 10 Kms(a good deal).
Clothes mementoes are to be purchased from Aparant(Handloom showroom at Mapusa Residency as well as Panjim Tourist). Cheap clothes all along Baga- Calangute and Vagator road stretch.
Other activities include fishing along the Baga creek, pubs in Candolim(TDS), Congo.
They might still manage to save a few hundred dollars if they stick to the regimen above.
