Goa expert advice needed!

Hi,

we have been in Goa, Palolem for nearly three weeks now. It's very low season and most of the restaurants are closed and everything (huts, shops) is being teared down for the season. We like the calmness on one hand (we are not out for party), but on the other we have grown really bored of the place! (eat at the same places everyday and so on).

Does any of you know if it is equally empty over all of Goa's beach locations? We have 2 weeks left here and are hoping to find a place where there is slightly more life. Need some advice on where to go...

Thanks!

Go to Badami, Aihole, Pattadakkal and Hampi. You will have a nice time seeing all these places.

it is over in Goa now, the rains will start anytime.

You might try Colva. But it's probably empty now also. It is full in may.

Sinquerin has life till wag end of the season... you can get off the beaches and hit Ponda for some plantations trips and the likes. thats the best you can do given the monsoon.. of course, you can travel to the other end and walk up dhood sagar falls. If you want to step out of Goa, Dandeli is another chioce (other than whats listed by Aztec)

Calangute...

Hi!

Thx for the advice.

We ended up in Calangute, it's a dump and not cosy at all. But there are plenty of places to eat and drink, we have a very nice room in a jungly garden for rainy moments, and we rented a scooter so that we can drive around very much: Candolim, Sinquerim, up to Baga, Anjuna, Vagator, and further up north. Everything is closeby, even Panjim, so that's good.

We have been to Hampi, yes. The reason why we want to stay here in Goa is because we have travelled so intensively the last three months with our baby, and now we just want to relax until our plane goes end of June.

Anyway, thx for all tips!

Cheers!
