goa - early dec

ok , i already hear a lot of people groaning, but sorry folks - i'm typing this after spending 4 days going through previous posts and searching high and low

i know my goa well, i know the beaches and i know the shacks, problem is that i have never stayed in a decent hotel there in all my previous visits. this time around it'll be with the woman - so a proper bed with clean sheets, an ac and a proper bathroom and good room service is needed

the plan is to spend 7 nights in goa and split between north and south. i need to know some good 1500-2000Rs per night places around Ozran (Vagator) or Candolim in the north (want to avoid Anjuna/ Baga/ Calangute) and Agonda / Palolem in the South. I was planning to stay at Betul, but there doesn't seem to be a proper sandy beach nearby. Either I go to Mobor or to Agonda....

so guys please help and moderators once again... sorry if i raked an often discussed issue again
