Goa discussion mailing list
There seems to a good and active Goa discussion forum which can be read on the web here
http://news.gmane.org/gmane.culture....a/cutoff=56388 It's actually a mailing list turned into a newsgroup and made web based. I believe the sub list is here http://www.mail-archive.com/goanet-n....org/info.html I'd urge people to have a look there and join that Goa list if you have specific questions. Espcially going back to decades of finding places long lost friends/relatives X (where teasure is buried) Not to swing people out of IM but it seems very Goa specific with a lot of Goanese out there. Mods, please delete this thread if you need to.

Why not Goanese...
Quote:
There have been long debates on this subject on Goanet. I wouldn't bother too much, but just gently remind the person addressing me thus that the term is incorrect.... BTW, I've been part of Goanet since 1995, and it has been a nice place to discuss a range of issues. If you want to sign-up (no charge for subscribing) go to http://lists.goanet.org/listinfo.cgi/goanet-goanet.org and clicking on its archive can take you to the earlier posts via the same URL. Must warn you, the load can be a bit high (so opt for the digest version if needed), and verrrrry Goa-focussed. Sometimes the debates get rather heated. The current obsession is about copyright issues. A related, lower-volume largely news-only list is Goanet-News http://lists.goanet.org/listinfo.cgi...ews-goanet.org and the direct link to the archives is http://lists.goanet.org/pipermail/go...ws-goanet.org/ Rgds, FN (Frederick Noronha)
