Getting from Margao to Arambol?!?!?!
Hello all,
I am in Delhi at the moment but im off to Goa next week (train already booked) Im getting into Marago but my friend and i would like to stay up north in Gods gift Arambol. Were getting the Raj Express so It dosent stop before Marago. Would another train/bus/taxi be the best option? Thank you for your help. Becks x P.S. If anyone replied to my last post thank you very much for the advice, we both got here safe and sound and are having a fantastic time! |

You can catch a bus in Margao to Panjim main bus station where there will be buses to take you to Arambul. If comfort and time are important you can take a taxi.

Rs 350
As per 2005 Gasolone prices, 350 Rupees in an Auto rickshaw, if you are a good negotiator.
Else, Rs 500+. Bus: as Casey suggested: Margoa-pronounced as 'Mad-Gaon' - Panaji(Panjim) Main Bus Sation - Arambol. |

Another alternative would be to get down at Savantvadi which is in Maharashtra but is much closer to Arambol. A taxi from there should be around Rp400.

Margao -> Arambol = A + B + C
Margao -> Arambol = A + B + C
A = Margao to Panjim. (33 kms) - busses / 3-wheelers. INR 25 B = Panjim to Calangute. (16 kms) - busses / 3-wheelers. INR 25 C = Calangute to Arambol. (approx. 15 kms.) - Cabs / 3-wheelers. INR - 300 or more If you wanna save the hassle - you can book a cab from Margao to Arambol. They should charge you upward of 800/- ( They charged me 650/- - official - season-fare, for Margao to Calangute). Take your pick. Thanks -Condor.
