Hi All
Just registered on the forum as we are starting to plan a trip to Goa for first two weeks of October We are staying in a time share resort near Mobor, Cavelossim, but would like to "see more" of Goa than the hotel pool!!! Reading the posts and doing a search, looks like the tourism industry hasn't "woken up" until November and the beaches are still "dirty" from the monsoon season. Can you advise please Thanking you all in anticipation Lee & Carol |

Getting cold feet
I was in Goa in early November last year and there were hardly any beach shacks open, however all the bars and restaurants in the towns were busy and doing well, so don't worry, just enjoy, it's a terrific place.

Thank you for your replies
Hi All
Many thanks for your replies, can't believe the speed they arrived After consideration, we are set on putting the holiday back by a month and travel in November. 8th to 22nd. Been keen to see Goa for about a decade now. From what is being posted we will need to go soon, before it becomes commercialized. Hopefully the beaches will be back to normal and some of the huts will be up and running with the snacks I have heard so much about. Thanks again for all your replies. Kind regards Carol & lee |
